County Commissioner Henry Lievens (L) and County Commissioner Jason Sheppard (R) presented  Isabelle Morin a kindergartener at St. Joseph Catholic School in Erie and her teacher, Mrs. Christy Mercurio, with the Evergreen School award during a ceremony at the Monroe County Earth Day Expo on Saturday, April 5.   St. Joseph school received the award for efforts in promoting and implementing activities to help the school and commmunity continue to be conscious of reducing waste, conserving energy, and keeping the earth clean.
