This week, we invite you to see Charlotte Arms Apartments in a different light. Under new management since April 2013, this once-heralded residence is returning to its former state of glory.
We also had a chance to sit down with Lisa Binkowski, a Toledo woman whose sister Becky was tragically killed in 1993. Lisa shared her story with The Buzz and vividly recalls the nightmare of her sister’s murder. She even wrote a book about it – “Being with Becky” – available for purchase at amazon.com and barnesandnoble.com.
For history and political buffs, we started two brand new “to be continued” stories: one about Buster Keaton and his ties to Michigan (that’s his black and white photo linked to this post), and another about the toll of retirees’ health care costs on Michigan cities. Happy reading!
