It appears the biggest problem currently facing Americans is how badly we are out of balance. We go out of our way to assist the world with its problems yet largely ignore the issues in our own neighborhoods, cities, states, and country. Whether it’s immigration, the budget and deficit, domestic social issues, or simply the way we are treated as Americans by our own governmental forces, we are unbalanced. This country was founded on the freedoms provided us by God as man (and woman). So many people think it’s time to change the principles this country was founded on, the Constitution, simply because they no longer fit into the society they feel we should be living, freedoms be damned. I refer to this unbalance as the Cell Phone Paradigm.
The Cell Phone Paradigm demonstrates the quality and quantity of assistance, pricing and advantage one gets as a new customer as opposed to one that has paid thousands of dollars over the years as a loyal customer. Only new customers get the new plans and discounts and deals provided by a cell phone company in order to garner more customers and business. Opposing this is the loyal customer who has been with the cell phone company for years and is informed they are ineligible for the discounts and special pricing provided for a new customer. We are hooked in for 2 years at a time to get the discounts we actually do get and anything less than that nullifies any advantage to signing up with this company again. The cell phone company also rests comfortably on the legal language stating they are not responsible for poor signal, connectivity or dropped calls because of the nature of the technology. They are the meteorologists of the technology world. They are not required to be correct and they get paid lots of money for being wrong more often than being right!
On a governmental level, we have Eric Holder, President Obama’s pit bull Attorney General. We have documented proof the IRS put known Republicans under intense scrutiny in order to discredit them. This order came from high ranking government officials and Eric Holder defended this, leading congress to believe the order possibly came from his office. As it turns out, the incriminating emails have seemingly and reportedly disappeared. Are you trying to tell me that an 8th grade hacker couldn’t recover these emails, let alone a governmentally compensated IT professional? Let’s really try to come up with a better lie than, “Uh, the emails got deleted and can’t be recovered.”
Holder is also on record as wanting non-American citizens to have the right to vote. The current regime has also done nothing to prevent and has even advocated that illegals have the right to vote. Not only is this contrary to current law but it unbalances everything the American citizen, stands, works and pays for, every day. Should the American citizen have a reasonable expectation of freedom of persecution from their own government?
President Obama is often seen shaking hands, laughing and talking to registered Democrats at fund raising events while there are thousands of illegal children in refugee camps here in the United States, awaiting decisions and/or deportation, with no guidance from the Oval Office. The largest mainland border in the lower 48 states is overrun with illegals coming into the U.S. by the thousands. While in Texas, President Obama had the opportunity to work with Governor Rick Perry on border control and chose to attend a fundraiser, not for wounded soldiers, not for handicapped children, not for homelessness in Texas, but for the Democratic Party. We have mothers crossing the borders to have children in the U.S. making them automatic citizens from the moment they are born. Where is the balance for the American citizen?
