RRCA’s 2014-2015 Marquee Season will open, for the final time, after a great seven year run, with The Rocky Horror Show. Along with The Rocky Horror Show, the RRCA will produce four other shows this season: The Nutcracker Ballet, Home for the Holidays, Jesus Christ Superstar and Cinderella. Our local talents will be complemented by five touring artist groups, some of whom have performed at the RRCA in the past. These shows will feature Broadway sensation The Golden Dragon Acrobats, the classic Tommy Dorsey Orchestra, NYC comedian Dave Engel in the swashbuckling Pirate School!, the longest running Phantom of the Opera Franc D’Ambrosio, Tomáseen Foley and his crew in Irish Times and the irreverently charming and humorous Chenille Sisters.
Returning artists Franc D’Ambrosio and The Chenille Sisters will be sharing their talents not only on the stage, but with Monroe County’s performing arts students through educational outreach classes. This season the RRCA will also continue to provide educational outreach and children’s programming by offering students, teachers and families with the opportunity to attend school shows (The Golden Dragon Acrobats, Pirate School! and The Nutcracker Ballet) and family oriented programming with all new family pack ticket deals.
