A recent discussion with a Buzz reader revealed an interesting opinion. He doesn’t believe Monroe is a city of leaders. He thinks each person is a follower, afraid to break from the fold and pave a new path for this community.
In light of this, The Buzz urges you to become a leader in all the ways you see possible. Lead your family, your co-workers and even your neighbors and set an example above reproach.
The old notion that one person can’t effect change is dated and frankly weak. Change that creates a better place to live starts with each person. Don’t sit back for another moment and wait to be told what to do. Instead, show others what to do.
