Another week of the Monroe County Fair has come and gone, and certainly we now have more memories to add to our collection from previous years. This trademark event is a staple for Monroe citizens, signaling the “back to school” shopping season and plenty of late summer/early fall happenings, like the River Raisin Jazz Festival, Apple and Pumpkin Festivals at local orchards and final summer vacations.
