Ann Silverman, M.D., FACG has joined ProMedica Monroe Gastroenterology.

Dr. Silverman is board certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology. She completed her fellowship in gastroenterology at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, Baltimore, MD, her residency in internal medicine at Veterans Administration Medical Center, Boston, MA. She obtained her medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Bronx, NY.  Dr. Silverman is a member of the American Gastroenterological Association, American Association for Cancer Research and a Fellow of the American College of Gastroenterology.

Dr. Silverman returns to Michigan after being in Ohio where she was in private practice.  Prior to her moving to Ohio, Dr. Silverman was on staff at Wayne State University, William Beaumont Hospital, Henry Ford Health System and was the Director of Research at War Memorial Hospital in Sault Ste. Marie.  Dr. Silverman also held faculty positions teaching medical students.
