Mercy Memorial Hospital System (MMHS) announces the appointment of Mark T. Dela Cruz, M.D., who has accepted a faculty teaching position with the Mercy Memorial Family Residency program.
Dr. Dela Cruz obtained a bachelor of science in clinical psychology from Far Eastern University in Manila, Philippines. In addition, he obtained his medical degree from Far Eastern University – Nicanor Reyes Medical Foundation in Manila, Philippines. He completed one year of a pathology residency at the University of Missouri, Columbia and a family medicine residency program at Mercy Health Partners/St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center in Toledo. He further completed a geriatric fellowship at the University of Louisville, Kentucky and a hospice/palliative medicine fellowship at Stanford University in Palo Alto, Calif.
MMHS is also pleased to introduce the second class of Family Medicine residents to the Family Medicine Residency Center, under the direction of Susan Hulsemann, M.D., and Vicki Collins, M.D.
Brittany Hattier, D.O. obtained an undergraduate degree from East Carolina University, Greenville, NC and attended medical school at Lincoln Memorial University-DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine. She just recently completed a traditional internship year at Oakwood Hospital – Dearborn.
Anastasia Flores, M.D. completed her undergraduate work at St. John’s University in Queens and graduated from the American University of Antigua College of Medicine.
Lynn Ngo, D.O. obtained an undergraduate degree from Houston Baptist University, Texas and completed medical school at the Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine of Midwestern University.
Nicholas Pryomski, M.D. graduated from the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine, St. Maarten. He attended both Michigan State University and University of Michigan for his undergraduate training.
Kevin Sullivan, M.D. obtained his undergraduate degree from Hillsdale College in Hillsdale, Mich. He attended the University of Medicine and Health Sciences, St. Kitts.
Gerald Tomasek, M.D. is a graduate of the University of Michigan and graduated from the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine, St. Maarten. He was a research technician at U of M for several years prior to attending medical school.
